For pianos needing some extra TLC, a JD Piano Service Pitch Raise guarantees effective tuning. Unlike other tuners, I conduct my pitch raise procedure as a specialty, two-visit process.
Pianos requiring this service are prone to wandering after the first correction. At your first appointment, I correct your piano to A440 concert pitch. The second appointment is a follow-up visit scheduled 1-2 weeks later where I fine-tune your piano to ensure pitch stability.

What if my piano is in really bad shape?
If your piano hasn’t been tuned for several years, it’s probably been affected by fluctuations in humidity and temperature. Most likely, this will require a pitch raise.
If your piano is very old or has been severely neglected, it may have structural issues that make a pitch raise or tuning service unfeasible. Before proceeding, I will assess your piano and discuss my recommendations with you.
