Welcome, I’m John Douglass, founder and master piano technician behind JD Piano Service. Since the 1920s, the Douglass family has had strong roots in the piano industry.
I learned the trade from my father at a young age, developing my skills working in the family business, Douglass Pianos.
After closing the Douglass Pianos showroom in 2008, I chose to carry on the family tradition of delivering premium tuning services at honest prices.
Now it’s just me, my toolbox, and my expertise helping you get the most out of your instrument.
As both a service provider and a musician, nothing brings me greater joy than helping others connect over music.
You enjoy the music, I’ll handle the rest so you can make the most out of piano practice, living room concerts, and weekend jam sessions.
